Adelman Advertising Receives State Employer of the Year

Mary Adelman, Adelman Advertising, Avon, MN, received the Minnesota Business and Professional Women's (BPW/MN) Employer of the Year award. This award was presented at the BPW/MN annual conference in Lake Elmo, MN, on May 3, 2008. Mary also received the BPW/St. Cloud Employer of the Year award in October 2007, forwarding her nomination on to the Minnesota federation.

Mary received the award for supporting and promoting initiatives that are important to women in the workplace. Flexible work schedules for employees with children and those who care for aging parents, allowing children to come to work if needed, and an open work environment were mentioned as practices very much in line with the values of BPW/MN. The mission of BPW/MN is “to achieve equity in the workplace through education, information, and advocacy.”

Adelman Advertising has produced branding/image campaigns, printed collateral material, print advertising, direct mail, and websites for a variety of clients since 1989. Adelman specializes in advertising and marketing for senior housing and health care, working in this industry on a national level for over 18 years.
