Mary Adelman Receives Silver Medal Award

Mary Adelman, Adelman Advertising, Avon, MN, received the American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award, February 2007, from the Advertising/Marketing Federation of Central Minnesota. The award is given to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence, and responsibility in the areas of social concern. The award enhances the image of advertising by recognizing a locally well-known person for their advertising and community involvement.

Mary was selected for the award by a panel of judges using the following criteria:
· Contributions to her company
· Creative ability
· Contributions to the general advancement of advertising
· Contributions to the community

Mary received the award to recognize years of creative advertising awards, volunteer work for the Advertising/Marketing Federation of Central Minnesota, and dedication to pro bono work for various nonprofit organizations.
